Twin Peaks
Get Lynched.
Ella González Oslo Norway:
---Watch the first two seasons first. Be warned, the second season is inconsistent*. Then, watch the film Fire Walk With Me. Even though it covers the events leading up to the beginning of the series, it was meant to be seen after watching the series.
The film is very different than the series in tone. I liked the shift because I saw what he was doing with it, but it is extremely different. It is a very nice bridge to the new series, though. After those, watch season 3.---
'Twin Peaks' Season 3 isn't just a masterpiece; David Lynch's 25-years-later return to his murder mystery may be the most groundbreaking TV show ever---I concur; I have been duly Lynched. If you are in need of a cosmic flashlight or a gold spray painted shit shovel, they are in aisle 1 of season 3.
Seasons 1, 2, 3.

* The reason for this is that Lynch and Frost never really planned on solving the mystery of who killed Laura Palmer, at least not until he was done with the whole story. So you get a lot of stories that are lower quality and feel hastily written (they were). Then it was cancelled, then it was brought back. Lynch and Frost manage to pull the story back on track, but by that time it was cancelled again.
